An Active Optical Window Protection Solution for Reliable Flame Detection
Flame detectors are precision devices that detect fires at long distances based on optical signals. Contamination of the optical window is a major cause of degraded detection performance.
The Air Shield is designed to protect the optical window of flame detectors from contamination and to minimize performance degradation.
Compressed air supplied from an air compressor flows through the piping system into the Air Shield, where it forms a jet air curtain around the optical window.
This air curtain flows rapidly outward from the detector surface, effectively preventing dust and airborne contaminants from approaching the optical window.
In addition, contaminants adhered to the optical window are removed by direct air discharge, and the dislodged particles are carried away along the jet air curtain and discharged outward.
The Air Shield is a highly reliable protection solution that helps maintain stable flame detection performance, even in harsh industrial environments.
